Course summary In this course students study studio practice and art history to develop a sophisticated understanding of modern and contemporary visual arts for application in the classroom. They will work across a broad range of media in an open-studio model, focusing on contemporary art practices. They can study a business major in accountancy, advertising, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, management, marketing, or public relations. Graduates have gone on to work in a diverse range of interesting careers, taking on positions such as: fashion designer, visual arts specialist, stage manager, and fashion manager or marketer. Business component are students may be eligible for membership to a number of professional bodies depending on choice of major and unit selection.
International admissions requirements Students from India should have obtained CBSE Year XII with at least 80 per cent average grade. Students from other countries should have specific country wise requirements equivalent to Australia. They must have knowledge in English, have achieved this study at a level comparable to Australian Year 12 or in recognised post-secondary studies. Accountancy, Finance, Economics and Marketing majors also requires four SA in Maths A, B or C. They must also meet English proficiency requirements with IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language overall score of 90.0.
