I gained a business management degree after which I attended the Bhupal Nobles? Institute of International Studies in Udaipur, Rajasthan, to study tourism. Bhupal Nobles' Institute of International Studies is a partner of Waiariki and this relationship enabled me to study one year in India before completing the final year of the higher level Diploma in Tourism Management in Rotorua.
Your study experience
I decided to complete my qualification in New Zealand in order to gain overseas experience in tourism while studying. I believed it important to acquire the experience, knowledge and qualification which would better prepare me to establish a tourism business in my native land. Of My time at Waiariki, I would say what really impressed me was the experience and knowledge of the tutorial staff. In addition I would say the willingness of tutors to give up their own time to help students succeed was exceptional.
