Overall experience

I'll be coming back to CU Denver for graduate school. I considered Boulder because I wanted a new experience but since I now work full time, Boulder's class schedule won't work for me. But I know I'll be coming back to a great school and program.

Your study experience

I graduated in 2006 with a BS in civil engineering from CU Denver. My two choices were CU Boulder and CU Denver. I got accepted to both but chose the Denver campus because I lived closer and didn't want to live and commute to Boulder. CU Denver class schedule is a bit more flexible as well. I'm glad I chose CU Denver. In my opinion, the civil engineering faculty were all great and really cared about its students. The best professors I've had in my college career came from the civil department. Most of them have PEs and have worked in the engineering field, which helps with real world practical problems. Senior and junior class sizes are perfect - not too big or small.
