This course of study ensures students to advance in their career with the necessary skills and an understanding of every aspect of electronic-based technology and computer applications of engineering. It also explores advanced mathematics, computing, practical engineering skills and industrial applications to groom them for ready employment or be ready for higher studies. It aims to equip students with advanced skills and practical knowledge in engineering; produce graduates to fill the vacuum in the demand for qualified electrical and electronics engineers to support emerging ICT organizations; provide graduates who can make valuable contributions in planning, designing, operating, installing, configuring and maintaining electronics and electrical systems. Graduates can be employed in support sales and marketing, as well as attaining positions of technical, managerial and commercial leadership, irrespective of the size of the company.

Entry requirement

Students must meet one of the following requirements: SPM (with 3 credits) in any subjects or other equivalent qualifications; a credit in Mathematics or UEC 3B inclusive of Mathematics is required or a certificate in the relevant field approved by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
