Course summary This program enhances management and critical decision making skills that managers need to function effectively in an organization. This is a key in handling current volatile economic changes that requires agility and strategic problem solving. This programs core subjects and specialisation areas will guide aspiring managers in rapid career growth. Learning outcomes are to prepare managers for careers in senior management and leadership in any sector; students will get a comprehensive foundation in fundamental management skills and techniques to be successfully applied via advanced tools for intelligent decision making in a variety of settings; to provide students with the content and competencies that will support their development as effective managers; to promote overall understanding and ability to apply skills on complex problem analysis, decision making and in the application of modern strategic management methods. International admissions requirements Students should have bachelor's degree with honours in relevant field or bachelor's degree in other fields recognized by AeU Senate, or open entry qualifications recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia: Be at least 35 years old, possess STPM/matriculation/diploma or its equivalent, provide evidence of prior learning experience and/or knowledge relevant to the program or other qualifications recognised by the AeU Senate. All full time international students are required to achieve a level of English language proficiency equivalent to International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of 5.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) overall score of 550 or the AeU Certificate of Intensive English or any other equivalent qualifications approved by the Senate of the University.

This is a flexible, international university set in Asia, by Asians for Asia under the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). Its establishment is an initiative of Malaysia, as the prime mover for e-education, with the support of 31 ACD member countries as confirmed at the Islamabad 2005 and Doha 2006 ACD Ministerial Meetings. AeU is also the main facilitator of the Asian Credit Transfer System (ACTS) - the mutual accreditation of academic programs among Asian educational institutions.
