Course summary This program focuses on construction law and procurement. It covers construction law, construction contract management, construction procurement system, construction dispute resolution, professional liabilities in construction, form of construction contract.

International admissions requirements Students must have a master's degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other Institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or other qualifications equivalent to a master's degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the senate; or candidates who a currently registered in a master's degree programme at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and approved by the Graduate Studies Committee of the respective faculty and the senate. Students are required to meet one of the following English proficiency requirements: A minimum score of 550 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a minimum overall band score of 6.0 in the British Council IELTS Test.

Accommodation details There are 13 residential colleges on Skudai main campus, which can accommodate more than 17500 students. There are two types of room available in each college: single and double. Some colleges provide single accommodation for students with each room having a network port and its own attached bathroom. There are about 301 units of two bed-room and 3-bedroom family apartments available in three colleges, usually reserved for international students. Most of the units are well equipped, fully furnished with ports for telephone and access to campus IT facilities and the Internet. Among the facilities provided at each residential college are a cafeteria, a multipurpose hall, a Muslim prayer room, tennis courts, an internet and computer center, a convenient store and a common room besides other facilities in the students' rooms. Full time students are eligible to apply for accommodation on campus. All new single international postgraduates are guaranteed a room on campus. Since there are very limited on-campus accommodations currently available for families, the accommodation for families with children are subjected to availability. There are only two residential colleges at the UTM International Campus, Kuala Lumpur: Kediaman Siswa Semarak and Kediaman Siswa Jaya, which can accommodate about 3,000 students, almost all are reserved for undergraduate students. In addition, there are about 40 single rooms available in the Business and Advanced Technology Centre (BATC), located within the campus. These rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned with internet connection facilities and mainly for postgraduate students. The rental rate for BATC rooms is RM600 per month. Alternative off-campus private accommodations are quite easily available in the nearby area.
