Food Institute of Malaysia, established in January 1998, offers Diplomas and short courses in various culinary and Business Management disciplines. The Institute set up the Asian Culinary Institute (ACI) in the year 2000 to train students into professionals in culinary arts. The array of courses offered by the Institute includes Foodservice, Restaurant Management, Basic Culinary, Pastry & Bakery, Western Cooking, Professional Cake Decorating, Nutritional Study, Food Handlers Course and Foodservice Training among others. FIM has produced more than 3500 graduates since inception.
