The Department of Computing and Technology at Anglia Ruskin provides students with first-class teaching, research and consultancy. The faculty is committed to the mutual reinforcement of theory and practice in teaching and research. Their curriculum is designed to ensure that traditional disciplines retain a clear, academic identity but translate effectively into courses with professional relevance. The students are encouraged to excel in international arenas and promote language learning and intercultural understanding.
The Department offers a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, covering a wide variety of topics in computing and technology, from Computer Science, to Electronics, Information Systems, Networking, Multimedia, Computer Gaming, Audio & Music Technology, Animation and Web Development.
Over 40 full-time academic staff with diverse teaching and research interests take pride in delivering an up-to-date and exciting curriculum, and also offering a friendly atmosphere in which the students can thrive.
This Department is located on both the campuses of the University: Chelmsford and Cambridge.
