The MBA at Anglia Ruskin has a strong reputation for providing managers with the necessary foundation for handling complex issues in a turbulent business environment. This course highlights issues managers need to be aware of and analyses their potential outcomes. The MBA courses are generalist and have a strategic approach, aimed at developing leaders who are challenging, thoughtful, analytical and innovative.
This one-year program has a unique depth of emphasis on a strong practical and professional orientation to the curriculum and learning styles, which has been developed over the Institute’s fifteen-year history. This course has been developed to meet the needs of managers in the running of their businesses, and to facilitate their progression to higher-level roles within their organization. It follows the recommendations of the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and is accredited by the Association of Business Schools.
The MBA is designed for students who possess a considerable degree of subject knowledge and proficiency from their undergraduate studies or experience of the workplace. Anglia Ruskin’s approach to study is essentially one of critique and evaluation, using the results of current and recent research and case studies to analyze, evaluate and appraise established methods, practices or techniques.
Teaching methods include lectures, case studies, syndicate work, role-playing, business games and group presentations. Syndicate and group work is encouraged to enable participants to benefit from the varied backgrounds and experience of other cohort members. Guest speakers and alumni may also be invited in order to enrich the content.
Based in the east of England,Anglia Ruskin has two modern campuses, Cambridge and Chelmsford, both less than one hour away from London. Choosing to study MBA in Cambridge will give students the chance to experience life in a beautiful and culturally diverse city unlike any other, while Chelmsford offers a true taste of life in a typically English town, with both a lively town centre and beautiful countryside surroundings.
