Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee, UK
Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) offers undergraduate degrees in art and media, communication design and craft design. DJCAD is the creative hub at the heart of the University of Dundee, which is one of Scotland’s oldest and most reputed colleges.
DJCAD has been rated as the top institution in Scotland for research in art and design (RAE 2008). It was also ranked the top art and design institute in Scotland for course satisfaction (Guardian 2011). For the last 2 years DJCAD students have won more awards at the London New Designers exhibition than students from any other institution in the UK.
The staff at DJCAD exhibit their work in many of the world's leading museums and galleris including the V&A, TATE and MoMA New York. The college has strong industry ties with many of the top companies across the globe including Microsoft and Deutsche Telekom.

Location
DJCAD is located in Dundee’s city centre. Dundee is situated in between the mountains and sea and offers easy access by road to other cities in Scotland like Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. The Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum now has advanced plans for the V&A at Dundee, which will become Scotland’s leading centre for design, this development is being led by the University of Dundee in partnership with Scottish partners and the V&A. This development will join the world class Dundee Contemporary Arts providing a local thriving cultural quarter within walking distance of DJCAD.
