Malaysian institutions that offer physiotherapy courses aim to provide students with the necessary educational experience and practical training necessary for the practice of physiotherapy. Degrees awarded include Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) and Master of Physiotherapy. There are PhD opportunities also on offer. There is a current national shortage of degree level physiotherapy personnel in Malaysia and hence a requirement for qualified physiotherapists.
