The Farnborough College of Technology opened to students in the year 1957 with 10 areas of study, engineering, science, art and ?women?s crafts?. The College is located at Farnborough, Hampshire. In the 1980s there were over 6,500 students including 1,500 full-time students enrolled at the College. The subjects offered include accounting, administration, aeronautical, art and design, beauty, business, childcare, catering and hospitality, community education and training, computing and information technology, construction, counseling, education and humanities, engineering, horticulture, human resources, languages, management, manufacturing, sports, television and radio, teaching, and travel and tourism.
