The Glasgow School of Art is an independent art school that was established in 1845. It is located at Glasgow, Scotland and has an international community of over 1,600 students. The College offers postgraduate degrees in architecture, animation, design innovation, sound for the moving image, textiles, fine art, creative culture critique, creative education, research in creative practices, and learning and teaching. The research centers available include architecture and environmental design, fine art, design, critical, historical and cultural studies and pedagogy. The School awards undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD degrees.
