The Isle of Wight College, a major provider of further education and training, was established in 1951 and initially offered courses in construction and engineering. The main campus is situated in a central location on the outskirts of Newport, Isle of Wight. The College offers A-Level courses for 16- to 19- year-old students, GCSE, foundation courses, vocational programs and several adult learning courses. The courses taught at the College are Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Care, Animal Management, Countryside-Gateway, 3D Computer Aided Design and Administration.
