In 1987 North Lincolnshire College was formed from the merger of Lincoln College of Technology and Gainsborough College of Further Education. The College is based over two sites in Lincolnshire, in Lincoln City Centre and at Gainsborough. Around 9,000 students are currently enrolled at the College. The courses offered include A levels, GCSEs, and Access to HE. All the programs are offered via the Teaching departments, namely, Business, Care & Salon Services, Media & the Arts, Construction & Engineering, the Learning Shop, Community Education and Skills for Life.
