The London Metropolitan University was established in 2002 by the merger of the London Guildhall University and the University of North London. The University comprises of nearly 34,000 students and is based in Central London with one campus in the City of London and the second campus in Islington. The various academic departments available at the university are Applied Social Sciences; Architecture and Spatial Design; Art, Media and Design; Computing, Communications Technology and Mathematics; Education; Humanities, Arts and Languages; Business School; Health and Human Science; Law; Governance and International Relations; and Psychology.
