Situated in Glasgow, the history of Glasgow Caledonian University dates back to 1875, though the Glasgow Caledonian was officially formed only in 1993. It has a student population of 16,000. The university conducts its teaching facilities via 7 different academic schools, which are, Built and Natural Environment, Caledonian Business School, Engineering and Computing, Health and Social Care, Law and Social Sciences, Life Sciences and Nursing, and Midwifery and Community Health. Undergraduate, postgraduate and a large number of research programs are offered by the university.
