Course summary This is a cross-period and geographically broad programme that allows students to study, and gain advanced expertise in, the archaeological study of how past societies remembered and commemorated their histories and mythologies; students have the opportunity to investigate death, burial and commemoration in both prehistoric and historic societies from across the globe, as well as the archaeology of the human body and the past in the past.
