Course summary You will have the opportunity to study the following 9 compulsory core units: Developing Effective Communication in Health and Social Care; Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care; Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care; Development through the Life Stages Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care; Personal and Professional Development in Health and Social Care; Sociological Perspectives for Health and Social Care; Psychological Perspectives for Health and Social Care; Science for Health Nutrition for Health and Social Care; and Human Inheritance for Health and Social Care. During the second year of the programme students will study a further 9 optional units in Health and Social Care.
International admissions requirements 5 GCSEs (A-C Grades) including English & Maths or equivalent qualification. Or GNVQ intermediate/BTEC First (merit) preferably in Health & Social Care or equivalent academic ability/potential demonstrated through prior experience and achievement
