Course summary Covers key civil engineering subjects such as: Structural analysis and design; geotechnics; hydraulics; surveying; materials; mathematics; plus options such as: languages; highway engineering; public health; diving and underwater technology; diving and underwater technology option allows students to obtain a professional diving qualification and training in underwater construction, surveying, photography and inspection; in the final year students can specialise in coastal engineering or structural design; students can progress to MEng depending on performance at stage 2.
