Program modules Year 1: Students are introduced to the fundamentals of design communication including: drawing; sketch modelling; photography; digital applications for image making; interactivity; computer modelling; the course provides an integrated approach to the development of research and presentation skills; critical theory; practical ability. Year 2: Students undertake projects that look in greater depth at innovative design developments; advanced computer modelling and animation; individual research and problem solving; professional practice and working as part of a design team; audio; interactivity; user-interface considerations. Year 3: Students choose projects in order to focus and develop particular interests and skills to greater levels; throughout the course students study by means of lectures; presentations; workshops.
