Course summary This Health & Social Care course is available as a full & part-time course and as an Apprenticeship. If you choose to study full or part-time, the course will give you a broad training and knowledge base in your chosen occupational area. Experience is not essentail but desireable. If you are not currently employed in the Care sector you will be required to take part in Work Experience placement in a voluntary role to support your learning. If you choose the Apprenticeship route, you must be employed in the sector and in receipt of at least �95 per week. The Apprenticeship will take 15mths to complete the full framework. There is a huge demand in industry for qualified professionals in the Care Sector in roles such as; Support and outreach workers, Adults Social Care,Health Assistants, Clinical Support Workers, NHS, Local Authority & voluntary groups.
