Course summary The course satisfies the requirements for their foundation specification enabling the student to take the next steps to becoming a Scottish solicitor and includes innovative teaching of legal skills and the opportunity to study abroad; the design of the LLB (Hons) degree is around 2 central themes: the 1st is to ensure that the potential of all the students is developed by focusing on employability skills as well as law; from the 1st term to the last ,students make presentations, draft legal documents, and engage in negotiations and mock court cases; the 2nd term emphasis is placed on the pervasive European influence in the Scottish legal system as EU integration is now the most important source of new laws.
