Year 2: Calculus and linear algebra; mathematical methods; imperative programming; operating systems and database modelling; optional subjects, 1 module is chosen from: dynamical systems and analysis; applied and numerical mathematics; data analysis; mathematical; statistical methods and random processes; computer systems and software engineering. Year 3: 7 modules are chosen from an extensive list of topics covering aspects of pure and applied mathematics; statistics; computing; plus project. Year 3: (MMath): 7 modules are chosen from an extensive list of topics covering aspects of pure and applied mathematics; statistics and computing together with stage 1 of a project. Year 4: (MMath): 6 modules are chosen to differ from those taken in year 3.
