The California Institute of Technology (CIT) was established in 1891 and has a student population of 2175. CIT has 31 Nobel Prize recipients as its alumni who have contributed to the field of science. Besides being part of a highly intellectual community, students can also enroll themselves in the activities of Organization of the Associated Students of the Indian Subcontinent (OASIS). The organization serves as the cultural and ethnic club for students of the Indian sub-continent.
